Mount Batur is one of sacred
mountain Balinese people. This active volcano located around 1717 metres above
sea level in Kintamani district,Bangli regency,Bali,Indonesia. In the southeast
wall of the inner caldera lies beneath lake Batur. Lake Batur is the largest crater
lake in Bali. On September 20th.2012,UNESCO has made mount Batur Caldera a part
of Global Geopark Network.
To get the top of the mountain,we need approximetelly 2 hours
hike passing through the black lava of Mount Batur. The beautiful sunrise will
we see from the highest peak of the mountain while enjoying breakfast served
with hot drink. After sunrise,on the way down,our local guide will take us to
see the other crater of the mountain and also the cave that often used for
meditation place by Hindu Bali holy priest.
On the way back to hotel,we will stop for a few while in
Agrotourism. There we will have coffee break and if you interesting,you can try
coffee luwak,the most expensive coffee in the world.
